Re-design of the High Line
Here is a scale drawing of the planed High Line changes. This design mirrows the prototype closer than the current execution. The big changes include the Cudahy/Armour section reduced from five tracks to the prototypic four tracks. The double crossover is moved on track west to allow acsess to Nabisco and Armour. A new double crossover will be installed just north of Nabisco 2 turnout. the two turnouts just south of the St. John's double crossover. Merchants will get a new internal turnout that will alow three more cars inside the building.
High Line
Here is a construction photo from Friends of the High Line. This shot is taken from the roof of NABISCO. In this shot you can clearly see the double crossover from the west main in to both Armour and NABISCO and Merchants. You can also see the turnout from the east main in to Cudahy Packers.
