Construction Log

Steel Deck

I started off with a 1/8 sheet of Styrene. I cut it to the dimensions on my scale drawing 4 7/8" x 12 17/64". I also translated to the styrene the location of where the turnout rod come through the plate to actuate the #4 wye points.

Building the Girders

I started off with Central Valley Bridge Girders that I kit bashed in to the much longer girders that make up the Transfer Bridge.

Now I'm adding the stock yet modified bridge flange to the modified Central Valley bridge girders.
